The Audiosphere exhibition of sound art opened October 14 at Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía in Madrid. I contributed one of my favorite unpublished field recordings for inclusion in the massive collection, contributed individually by experimental sound artists around the world, assembled and presented by Francisco López. Conceived as a social audio experiment in “prolonged listening,” this exhibition is accompanied by a book with essays by Francisco López, Thomas Bey William Bailey, Margie Borschke, Victor Nubla, Luis Alvarado, Guy Marc Hinant, Salomé Voegelin, Caleb Kelly, Paul Hegarty, Greg Hainge, Christoph Cox, and John Oswald. The exhibition runs until January 2021.
