In June 2009 I was honored to be invited to speak about the World Listening Project at the 4th International Soundscape Retreat & Symposium: Negotiating Space/Place In the Changing Soundscape, organized by the Canadian Association for Sound Ecology (CASE). Recently, CASE published transcripts of our presentations on their updated website. My talk as well as those by Eric Powell, Noora Vikman, and Barry Truax can be read online on the “Research & Publications” page.
Additional speakers at the symposium included Hildegard Westerkamp and Charlie Fox. This retreat was so inspiring for me I thought I would mention that Nadene Thériault-Copeland wrote this symposium report in the WFAE Newsletter.
