Vom 29. September bis 4. Oktober findet die Autumn School des B3-Festivals in Frankfurt statt.
Als besonderes Highlight für Audio-Interessierte gibt es den Workshop “Spatial Sound”, der sich “hands on” mit den hoch innovativen Möglichkeiten von 3D-Soundgestaltung befasst.
Der Workshop findet vom 30.9.-4.10.14 jeweils ganztägig statt. Workshop-Leiter ist Eric Leonardson, Audiokünstler aus Chicago. Gearbeitet wird mit dem SpatialSound-Wave-System des Fraunhofer Instituts.

Die Kosten für Studierende, die nicht dem hFMA-Netzwerk angehören: 60€, für Young Professionals: 120€.
Dies inkludiert jeweils den Eintritt zu dem gesamten Autumn School Programm, das noch weitere interessante mediengestalterische und –künstlerische Workshop bietet.

Sept 29 – Oct 4, 2014 the B3-Festival’s Autumn School will take place in Frankfurt.
Its Workshop “Spatial Sound” from Sept. 30-Oct 4, 2014 in Frankfurt offers a special highlight for students and young professionals related to audio.
Here, the innovative approaches of 3D-sound can be explored hands on. Workshop director is Eric Leonardson, sound artist from Chicago/SAIC. Workshop language is English. The participants will work with the new SpatialSound Wave system by Fraunhofer Institute.

The system allows to place and animate sounds precisely at their defined locations in space. It allows also the creation of soundtracks for 360°-movies (“Fulldome Cinema”).
